Relatively easy route, with one big climb in the middle (very steep, 17%). As usual, impressive sceneries all around. The route uses small B-class roads, so traffic is hardly a problem. From Berwick-Upon-Tweed there are frequent trains back to Edinburgh, even on Sundays.
